Eric will discuss Open Context, an open access data publishing venue for archaeology that represents the changing nature of scholarly communications. By emphasizing “data sharing as publishing,” peer-review, linked open data, and distributed systems, Open Context attempts to meet emerging research needs and contribute to the development of a more resilient information ecosystem capable of adapting to a changing research environment.
